Invisible possibilities, new ways of seeing

Invisible possibilities can feel unsettling, with all the unknown and unexpected they quietly imply. Yet they carry a promise—and an invitation that’s anything but obvious: to look more closely, stay curious, and remember that the essence of things is shaped by how we choose to approach them.
And perhaps this is exactly where originality begins: in returning to the origin—in the attention we bring, in the curiosity we allow ourselves. This is how discovery becomes a moment of its own: a suspended passage, already rich with meaning and yet still waiting to take shape.
With this awareness, we celebrate Christmas 2025 and look ahead to the year to come.
We draw inspiration from Sara Alissa and Nojoud Alsudairi, who, for Desert X AlUla, created the site-specific installation_ Invisible Possibilities: When the Earth Began to Look at Itself_. Their work explores the “speculative” self as a key to observing—and reshaping—our understanding of what surrounds us.
Ultimately, this is what we wish: that this season becomes, for all of us, a chance to rediscover ourselves as “nomadic subjects”—still able to feel inspired, and willing to return to the origin, so we can set off again with even greater momentum. Ready to make room for new questions, new directions, and possibilities that may be invisible today, but could become real tomorrow.
Happy holidays and Happy New Year from Fornace S.Anselmo.
