The villa located on the prestigious Buda Hills is so stylish, yet casual and sophisticated, with its rational architecture that impresses us as if we were looking at icons of bygone times.
The external shell of the house is a spacious brick crust, made with this cherry-red Corso Selmo PG. The hard shell helps insulate the rooms inside, being clay a great product for energetic efficiency.
Isolation is good for me
There is also this kind of distancing, a peaceful solitude which creates a unique spatial quality.
As a result, the house is simultaneously enclosing itself, while revealing its defined transparency.
It reflects a tight, well-organized order, but with some expressions it actually steps out its dull orderliness.
The exposed roof structure spans between in-situ concrete beams, letting the tectonic order visible. The atrium itself is not just a central component, but rather a sober and rational development trick which operates as a light-trap, due to its orientation and connection.
Refined interiors
While the spatial structure is genuinely contemporary, its interiors radiate conservative comfort and familiarity shaped with refined, quiet luxury tastes.
